The Chinese president will attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.

Xi Jinping will also attend a reception for foreign dignitaries attending the opening of the Games, and will participate in a series of bilateral¹ meetings between February 4 and 6.

More than 30 heads of state, heads of government, royal family members and leaders of international organizations will attend the opening ceremony and related activities.
