Peking University continues to dominate the rankings of mainland Chinese universities, according to a recent survey by a British education company.

根据英国教育公司的最新一次调查，北京大学继续登顶中国大陆大学排名。

The school ranked No. 7 on the Quacquarelli Symonds' ranking of the top 300 universities in Asia. The National University of Singapore was ranked the best in Asia, then followed by University of Hong Kong and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Tsinghua University came in as the eleventh best school in Asia, moving up three notches¹ from the previous year.

北大排在了QS亚洲前300所高校中的第七位。新加坡国立大学排在了亚洲首位，第二名是香港大学以及韩国科学技术学院。清华排在了第11位，比去年增长了3个排位。

Some mainland academics commented on the report saying the survey's reputation criterion, which accounts for 30 percent of the total score, was too subjective².

许多内地大学对此报告做出了评论，称大学的声誉占据了总评分的30%，这太主观了。

Zhang Yan, the head of QS' office in China, said the perception of the institution's reputation is factored in to prevent artificial weighting in the publication of scholarly research. The papers-per-faculty ratio is worth 15 percent of the university's score.
