 A warm welcome on this Thursday March 7th, especially for anyone who is dealing¹ this: a frosty reception. Winter storm, yes, another one, hammer parts of Mid² Western and North Eastern United States this week. Power outages, schools and businesses closed and flights cancelled. Chicago had a record one day snow fall on Tuesday. CNN's Ted³ Row lands was there. 

This is not only in Chicago, it force the Middle West, * * , getting access to a foot of snow. And the system is heading east.

We've gotten our yards out. And at least where I am, I have measured, from place to place, we look like the snow was untouched, about 6 inches of snow so forth⁴, right here in downtown, Winchester although, that's by no means a scientific reading.

Many airlines  cancelled, a number of flights, hundreds in fact, and where I am * is a big hub for United Airlines. As is Chicago, O'hare airports, United has take a big hit. They cancelled about seven hundred flights.

The highest waves during Sandy were maybe forty miles an hour. But this time we are talking about 12 to 15 foot seas. Now you can see, the damage is pretty clear about what happened during hurricane Sandy. Look, so many houses are still have been destroyed or are heavily damaged.

Is it legit? Members of OPEC, the Organization of Petroleum⁵ Exporting Countries, are all Middle Eastern nations. Not true, OPEC includes countries in Africa and South America too.

Like Venezuela, a country of more 28 million people that's in the Norther part of South America. Oil is a huge part of Venezuela's economy. It is one of the biggest industries in the country. It is responsible for roughly 95% of all the money that Venezuela earns by selling products to other nations. Venezuela is in the middle of a seven days of mourning. The country's long time leader Hugo Chavez died this week. His * was moved to a military academy yesterday, that's where his state funeral is scheduled to happen tomorrow. Venezuela will set a date to elect a new leader in the next 13 days. During his time of president, Hugo Chavez's supporters argue that he gave Venezuelans a sense of national pride. His critics argue that Chavez ruled the country's economy and restricted people's liberties. Controversy⁶ plays a large role in Chavez's legacy⁷.

He relished⁸ being at the center of controversy, so it's no wonder his friends and foes⁹ have very different takes on Chavez legacy.

He has made Venezuelans feel proud to be Venezuelans again. And that is something that I think that really no other leader has ever done in that country before. In fact, they were doing the opposite.

He destroyed the economy and centralized all power in his hands, decimated the democratic constitutions in the country and left the left Venezuelan's democracy even in worse shape. So it's a pretty negative legacy.

Chavez's * the United States and multinational¹⁰ cooperation. It evoked¹¹ the promise of a socialist¹² Utopia. But Hugo Chavez had what most other Latin American leftists did not, oil. Venezuela has the largest oil reserve in the world, along with Saudi Arabia. That oil wealth enables Chavez to offer a free education and healthcare in his own country. The price of his socialist agenda, Hugo Chavez himself. Presidential term limits were abolished. 

Even his critics admit, he could have gone on winning elections indefinitely. His biggest failure maybe his success, a legacy of one. Friends and foes, the Chavez's legacy is filled with both.
