Their parents have been hunting.

Their offerings are devoured¹ instantly.

Arctic hare is a mainstay of the tundra² diet

and one the cubs³ seem particularly keen on.

Uneaten food is usually hidden for leaner times,

but there will be no leftovers⁴ today.

The cubs are growing fast and are always hungry.

The good times are certainly back,

but these white wolves remind us
