One of the 3 Americans who helped stop a terror attack on a high-speed train traveling from Amsterdam to Paris has landed hom in Sacramento. 23-year-old Gn arrived Tuesday with his family. The suspect has been charged with terror.

West Virginia police say a 14-year-old boy is in custody¹ after holding 29 students and a teacher hostage at gun point in a high-school classroom on Tuesday. Police say he released them after negociations and surrendered. No injuries were reported.

Parts of Hawaii's Waikiki Beach were closed Tuesday after a half million gallons sewage spill. Heavy rain caused manhole covers in Honolulu to overflow² with sewage. Some still hit the water despite the warnings.

Thousands of Hindu pilgrims in India celebrated³ the first bathing day of the annual Maha Kumbh Mela on Wednesday. The pilgrims believe the ceremonly will cleanse⁴ them of their sins and free them from the circle of life and rebirth.
