 Only three entries really caught my attention: the Romanian Varacolaci,  只有三个条目真正地吸引了我的注意力：罗马尼亚的维拉可拉斯，

Stregoni benefici: An Italian vampire², said to be on the side of goodness,  斯特岗尼亚，有益的吸血鬼：一种意大利吸血鬼，据说是美德的保护者，

and a mortal enemy of all evil vampires³. 是所有邪恶吸血鬼最致命的敌人。

It was a relief, that one small entry, the one myth among hundreds  这个短短的传说实在是一种宽慰，在上百条传说之中，

that claimed the existence of good vampires. 这是仅有的宣称存在着有好的吸血鬼的一条。 

Overall, though, there was little that coincided with Jacob's stories or my own observations.  但是，总的说来，这里没有太多内容和雅克布的故事或者我的观察结果有关。

I'd made a little catalogue in my mind as I'd read and carefully compared it with each myth.  我一边看，一边在心里列了一份小小的列表，用来跟每条传说逐一对比。
