His slogan¹ is: "Chemical engineer by day, funny guy by night".

Abdallah Jasim found his footing in the comedy scene after posting a video about how Arabs² catch mice went viral. Since his viral debut³, Jasmin has found a following for his comical Instagram videos, and performed stand up sets across America and Canada.

Jasim says that “comedy helps with everything," and cracking⁴ jokes on stage and online has been a way for him to break through cultural divides.

"It's really hard guys, to be a Muslim in America, cause a lot of the things you guys do we can't do,” said Jasim jokingly. But the beauty of comedy, he adds, is that laughter⁵ makes it easier to connect with people who are different than you.
