In the spring of 2005, a father’s decision to home school his daughter raised the eyebrows² of many at the time.  Now, more than 10 years, in 2016, many are curious to see how the once little girl would turn out, only to find that she cannot even pass a middle school level test. Yet, another case sheds home-schooling in a completely different light. After his son Zheng Yaqi graduated from elementary school, China's "King of Fairy Tales" Zheng Yuanjie dissatisfied with China’s education system, resorted to home schooling instead.
