　　A:Hello,The Evening Post, Sales Department.

　　A：你好，这是《邮政晚报》销售部。

　　B:I want to speak to the sales manager.

　　B：我想同销售部经理谈话。

　　A:Speaking.May I know who's calling,please?

　　A：我就是。请问您是哪位？

　　B:This is Mrs. Wang,one of your newspaper subscribers. Could I have the opportunity to ask you a question?

　　B：我是王女士，是你们报纸的一位订阅者。我能借此机会问你一个问题吗？

　　A:Certainly. Please.

　　A：当然可以，请讲。

　　B:If I apply for a subscription¹ to your newspaper today,when do you get it delivered?

　　B：当你们今天邮寄报纸时，我能否申请一份当日的订阅报？

　　A:Are you in the same city area?

　　A：你在同一城市地区吗？

　　B:Yes,downtown.

　　B：对，在商业区。

　　A:Usually the next day.

　　A：通常是在第二天。

　　B:Good. I subscribed² three days ago,but until this moment,I have been waiting in vain.

　　B：好我是三天前订阅的，但是直到现在，我仍在空等。

　　A:Haven't you received our paper?

　　A：难道你还没收到我们的报纸吗？

　　B:No. When on earth can you deliver it?

　　B：没有。你们究竟什么时候能邮到？

　　A:I'm terribly sorry, Mrs. Wang. There must have been something wrong at our end. I'll send directions to our sales agency³ for your area immediately and get the paper delivered to your house without fail tonight. Would you mind telling me your address again?

　　A：王女士，我感到非常抱歉。我们这里肯定出差错了。我将立即把你的姓名地址送到我们的销售代理处，最迟不过今晚把报纸给你邮去。你介意再把你的地址和我说一遍吗？
