[英伦广角] 2015-06-20 脱欧公投法案 卡梅伦面临保守党内部分歧

 He is almost four decades ago to the day that i and millions of others in Britain cast my vote in favor of my membership of the European Communities. Alike millions of others i believe that i was voting for an economic community that would break significant economic benefit to Britain but without undermining our national sovereignty. I don't remember anybody say anything about ever close the union or a single currency. But Mr.Speaker, the institution of the clear majority of British people voting to join has changed mostly beyond recognition in the decade since then.

I must say that must be in some strange juxtapositions¹ in the campaign held in the 1970, in which i took a very active part. Most of the debates i took part in were about the pooling of sovereignty and the direct act of the .. of an European Legislation without parliamentary intervention² which was very controversial subject. And otherwise the ever close union was in the treaty to which we were acceding³.

Well, Mr.Speaker, call me negligent⁴, but as 19 year old vote election, i didn't actually read the treaty.
