生命交响曲

To live content with small means ; to seek elegance¹ rather than luxury ; and refinement²

注 rather than fashion.

To be worthy³, not respectable and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently,

act frankly⁴; to listen to stars and birds, to babies and sages⁵ , with open heart; to bear all

cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.

In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.

This will be my Symphony.

钱财无需多，心满意足地生活；追求优雅而非奢侈，追求高尚而非时尚。

让生命富有意义，而非赢得万人敬慕、万贯家财；勤奋学习，静心思索，谈吐文雅，

坦诚做事；敞开心扉，倾听星星之声和鸟儿之音，倾听婴儿的牙牙学语和圣哲的教诲；愉

快地承受一切，勇敢地做每一件事，等待时机，永不匆忙着急。

一句话，让精神境界在平凡的事物中扩展，自发地、不知不觉地升华。这将是我的生

命交响曲。

1 elegance

4 frankly   

adv.坦白地，直率地；坦率地说

5 sages   

n.圣人( sage的名词复数 )；智者；哲人；鼠尾草（可用作调料）
