St Malachy’s, on Alfred Street close to City Hall, is one of Belfast’s oldest Catholic Churches and is perhaps best known for its beautiful vaulted¹ ceiling and mosaic² floor. But situated³ discreetly⁴ on a wall inside the church is a rare memorial plaque⁵ honouring those who gave their lives in the Great War.
