 Lesson Six: “惹怒”地道美语怎么说？

Firs of all, let's have a review. 您还记得在第5课中我们学到的与“not to disturb”"not to annoy" 同义的地道美语口头表达吗？它是：get out of one's hair “不要妨碍”，“不要打搅”“不要打扰”，get somebody out of one's hair “使某人不要妨碍，打搅，打扰某人”And this morning I still want to put an emphasize¹ that it cannot used in Business English.

现在我们开始第6课的学习。Lesson Six: How to say "惹怒（某人）" in American English. 第6课：惹怒（某人）， 美语怎么说？

【基础篇】

We might as well listen to the following sentence: If you get in someone's hair from time to time, he must shout at you, "Get out of my hair, which is beginning to getting in my hair ". 如果您不停地打搅某人，这个人一定向您吼道：“不要打搅我， 你已经开始惹我生气了”。（At this moment, you'd better keep your mouth shut.）在这个句子中，用了一个含有hair, h-a-i-r（头发）这个单词的一个短语来表示“惹怒（某人）” “激怒（某人）”。 它是：get in one's hair. It means² "make somebody slightly angry." 我们可以想象有事没事去弄别人的头发，别人当然会烦了，当然就会angry了。

Let's look at two more sentences to get a grasp of it. 1 His constant³ joking was beginning to get in her hair. 他不停地跟她开玩笑，已经惹她生气了。2 It gets my hair to see him getting ahead of me. 我看到他领先于我，心理就不痛快。(备注：get ahead of 意为：胜过，超过。For example: The car behind wants to get ahead of us.后面那辆车想超过我们。I have to get ahead of my competitors⁴.我得超过其他的竞争者。)【进阶篇】

Get in one's hair 意思是：惹怒了某人。Here I would like to ask you a question: Why does he get angry? It's no doubt that you've disturbed him. So, get in one's hair 还是get out of one's hair的反义词，还有"cause somebody trouble"的意思。Let's look at the following sentences to get a grasp of it. 1 The flies are getting in my hair. 这些苍蝇真叫我心烦。2 It got in her hair to hear that she would not be able to catch the train. 获悉不能赶上这趟火车了，她真烦恼。
