【简明语法】21.10 would rather表示"宁愿"

　would¹ rather² do
　would rather not do
　would rather… than…　 宁愿……而不愿。


　还有would sooner, had³ rather, had sooner都表示"宁愿"、"宁可"的意思。


　If I have a choice⁴, I had sooner not continue⁵ my studies at this school.
　I would rather stay here than go home. = I would stay here rather than go home.

• He went abroad at his own choice.他出国是自愿选择的。

参考例句：

• We'll continue with our work.我们要继续做。
• Even if It'should rain tomorrow,we will continue our work.即使明天下雨，我们也要继续工作。
