1. A stone's throw
扔块石头就能到的地方，这距离也是太近了!
例：The high school is just a stone's throw from his house.
高中离他家很近，几步路就到了。
2. Within earshot
如果你不是顺风耳，那么这个短语间接地说明你们离得不远，彼此在能听到对方说话的范围内。
例：They were within earshot of each other.
他俩离得不远，能听到彼此说话。

4. At one's elbow
Elbow意指“胳膊肘”，就在某人的胳膊肘边上意思是就在手边。
