NEW YORK, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Jeremy Lin had 28 points and a career-high 14 assists to end the Dallas Mavericks1 six-game winning streak2 in New York Knicks' 104-97 victory on Sunday.
Steve Novak made four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter in Knicks pursuit of scores, who were 12 points behind in the third.
J.R. Smith scored 15 points in his Knicks
debut3 and Novak had all of his 14 in the final period as New York won for the eighth time in nine games.
