BERLIN, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Robin1 Dutt has joined German Football Association2 (DFB) as sporting director on a four-year contract, the DFB announced at an official press conference on Wednesday.
The 47-year-old Dutt is the

"To take on this exciting challenge here with the DFB has a very special significance, it feels great to be responsible in this function. I look forward to working together with Joachim Loew as well as the other DFB coaches", Dutt said. From 2007 until 2011 Dutt coached Freiburg following a one-year
engagement4 at Bayer Leverkusen.
"I'm quite pleased that we were able to sign to sign an expert and well established Bundesliga coach for this important position. I m sure Robin Dutt will build on the success of Matthias Sammer", DFB President Wolfgang Niersbach said.
