Some northern regions will experience temperature drops from 10 to 12 degrees Celsius, it added.
Most parts of the country will see light to heavy rain in the next few days, and light to moderate snow may fall in parts of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang and Jilin provinces, the NMC said.
