　　I have a very superstitious¹ friend calledMack. He thinks that if he breaks a mirror,he will have seven years' bad luck. As aresult, Mack doesn't have any mirrors in hishouse. But not all superstitions² are aboutbad luck. For instance, Mack also believesthat if he drops his chopsticks, someone willinvite him to dinner. So, Mack is always drop-ping his chopsticks and waiting for an invita-tion.
