BEIJING, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Boeing was endeavoring to expand its investment and sales in China, a fast-growing market for the commercial jetliner manufacturer, with its delivery in China expected to set a record this year.
"Boeing's strategy in China will serve China's national strategy as well as the demand from Chinese customers. We not only sell aircraft in China, but we also support the future development of safety and efficiency in China's aviation industry," said Ian Thomas, president of Boeing China.
The U.S. company's investment in China includes technology, research, training, manufacturing and after-sale services, and its total investment surpassed 800 million U.S. dollars so far this year, Thomas told reporters during a recent briefing.
