"Don't you worry; we'll stay in touch！"Those words should sound familiar if you have friends who have gotten married and/or had children.

 

“别担心，保持联系！”要是你也有已婚的或有孩子的朋友，一定很熟悉这句话。

 

How many of them actually kept their word？Not many, I bet¹.

 

他们中遵守诺言的又有几个呢？我敢说绝对不多。

 

This shouldn't come as a surprise since these major life decisions require the sacrifice of free timeand personal freedom.

It's hard to find the time to do much when you have a spouse² and child to consider.
