模仿文本：Earlier this year, the United States became the world's largest oil producer, bigger even than Saudi Arabia and Russia. And that's all due to one thing - the rise of hydraulic¹ fracturing² or fracking. It's a technique designed to recover gas and oil from shell rock by drilling down into the earth where a high-pressure water mixture is injected into the rock to release the valuable resources inside. 

今年年初，美国成为全球最大的石油生产商，甚至超过了沙特阿拉伯和俄罗斯。这都归功于水力压裂法的使用。这项技术可以将燃气和石油从地壳岩石下采掘出来，主要是将一种高压掺水混合物向地下深处注射到岩石里，使得其释放内部宝贵的资源。
