    Well, I took advantages of fact it was science fiction to be able to escape from the immediate¹ press of the issues you just mentioned which I call mind change, and draw analogies of the climate change. What I wanted to do was to let my imagination roll more freely and go over a century into the future to think if we can get beyond the immediate screen technologies, what would people be like.

    科幻小说可以不受你刚刚所说的突发事件的影响，我称其为思想变化，和天气变化差不多。我利用了这点优势。我想让自己的想象更自由，穿越一个世纪来到未来，思考我们能否摆脱目前的屏幕技术，那时的人是什么样子的。
