This film is called "Fat Man on a Beach". It was first broadcast for HTV in 1974. But this particular fat man was BS Johnson, one of the most innovative1 stylists in post-war British writing, and author of "The Unfortunates", the 1969 novel, presented in a box from which most of the chapters could be read in any order the reader chose.
