模仿文本： With a budget deficit¹ of $1 trillion and counting, you might think what America needs at the moment is a strong dose of austerity, a la Europe. But the prospect² of new measures to boost government revenue and rein³ in spending is causing no end of alarm. Talk now, especially on Wall Street, is about the perils⁴ of America's so-called fiscal⁵ cliff as economic impact of a range of tax increases and state spending cuts due to take effect on January 1st. Some say the impacts on American households and businesses could be enough to push the US back into recession.
