模仿文本： It's 1968 and the Vietnam War is at its height. American soldiers are battling to defend the South Vietnamese city of Hue¹. With them is a young photographer Don McCullin. And it's there among the blood and the carnage that he would take a photograph of a US Marine² staring silently into space, dazed and shell-shocked beneath a grimy helmet. 

 

"I dropped on my knees and I photographed five frames of him. Each of those individual frames, you cannot tell the difference of those negatives. There's not one blink of eyelid³ with this man." 

 

 

译文： 那是1968年，正是越战最为白热化的阶段。美国士兵们正在为守卫越南南部城市顺化而战，而年轻的摄影师东·麦克卡伦也在军中。就在那遍地血腥的大屠杀中，他将会拍下这样一张照片：一位美国海军陆战队士兵无声地望向虚空，在沾满灰尘的头盔下，他充满惶惑，陷入极度惊恐。 

“我跪在地上，给他拍了五张照片。那五张照片的底片完全看不出任何区别。那个人连眼皮都没眨过一下。”
