  1. Not be on speaking terms
  俗话说,话不投机半句多。争论之后两人就不愿意说话了,这时英文就可以用这个短语。
  例:She's not been on speaking terms with her uncle for years.
  她有好几年都不爱跟她叔叔说话了。
  2. Fall out (with sb)
  Fall out意指“吵架闹翻”,而fall out over sth则表示因某事而闹翻。
  例:She has fallen out with her boyfriend over his ex-girlfriend.
  她跟男友闹翻了,起因是他的前女友。
  3. Bear a grudge1 against sb
  Grudge可以表示“怀恨”、“怨恨”、“妒忌”。这个短语意指"对某人怀恨在心",bear还可以替换成have、nurse或owe。
