Israel and Palestinian factions¹ in the Gaza Strip have agreed to an Egyptian proposal for a long-term ceasefire.

This comes after one of its health workers became infected with the virus.

This is the first time a WHO worker has become infected with Ebola.

More than 240 health care workers have been infected since the Ebola outbreak began in March in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Over 14-hundred people have died since the current outbreak first began.
