Rescuers are still searching for the other two.

The Chinese government is calling for a united effort from the international community to fight the Ebola virus.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has made the call while addressing a special United Nations meeting on Ebola in New York.

Wang Yi has noted⁴ in his speech that China has already provided⁵ drugs, medical equipment and other supplies to affected⁶ countries in West Africa.

The Chinese government is also working to establish an Ebola research center outside Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown.

Once in operation, the lab will be able to deliver Ebola tests within a day.
