Each change has a price¹.每次改变都是有代价的。

price一般指价格的意思，例如：

Prices² keep going³ up.物价持续上涨。

I bought this car for a reasonable⁴ price.我以一个合理的价格买了这辆车。

但在第一句中的price是代价的意思。再来一个例子：

He paid⁵ a heavy price for his success⁶.他为他的成功付出了沉重的代价。

price还可作动词，表示为...定价。如：

This computer was⁷ priced⁸ at $1000.这电脑标价1000美元。
