1. A UN official who met with war crimes suspect Ratko Mladic as he was being extradited from Belgrade says Mladic was extremely cooperative when taken into custody. He'll appear before a judge in the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal on Friday. Mladic is accused of ordering the killing of 8,000 Muslim men and boys in 1995.

 

2. NATO and its partners are extending their military campaign in Libya for another 90 days. NATO's top official says the move should send a clear message to Moammar Gadhafi's regime.

 

3. Germany's national disease control center says another 365 people have gotten sick in a food-borne bacteria outbreak. Sixteen people have died from E. coli linked to contaminated vegetables.

 

4. Space Shuttle Endeavour has landed after a mission to the International Space Station. Endeavour is being retired and will be sent to a Californian museum.
