This was the moment of plane smashed into a big wheel, debris falling to the ground. With the pilot and passenger trapped inside, the light aircraft dangles precariously, embedded in the ferris wheel. The man inside hang from their seatbelts, unable to move. Just feet away, a 13-year-old girl comforts her autistic 9-year-old brother. Stuck inside their carriage, the terrified children have to wait an hour and half for the Emergency Services to reach them. There were cheers of relief as the children were finally rescued.

When I turned around, there was just a big plane, right behind me. I was so scared, and just screaming.

I was freaking out, the cranes is gonna taken forever.

The plane had taken off from an airstrip near Taree on the new south Wales coast. The children's mother was amongst those who saw the crash.

I was just proud of both of them, they were amazing.

The pilot and his son-in-law passenger would determine the children should be rescued first.

We had hit no one, or seriously injured anyone. That was at my concern. When we were fallen there, we had kids, one next to us all, calm down and get the kids here first, so I realize get the kid here.

An investigation has begun into the crash which few here can believe caused no injuries or deaths.
