 A broad low pressure trough over the north of Australia is generating showers and storms over the top half of WA, the northern territory and Queensland, and cold front is causing showers and gusty winds in Tasmania and Victoria. Another trough is directing a very hot Emma, so ever western WA. Looking around the country now in Queensland, showers and  storms for the tropics mostly sunny and very warm in the west and south. Mostly sunny across most of New South Wales some islated showers expected in the far northeast. In Victoria, cool and windy in the south of the state with some light showers forcast this afternoon mostly sunny in the north. Tasmania can expect strong cold western in winds with a few showers forecast for the east of the state. Cool with some of light showers for the southern parts of south Australia, sunny and very warm in the north. Over in the west, showers and storms are expected in the Kimberley, a windy day expected along the south coast and cool that fine around Perth. And in the northern territory, mostly sunny in the south showers and storms in the top end. Looking ahead to Sunday's forecast for the capital cities, sunny in Brisbane, Sydney, and Canberra, a chance of showers for Melborn and Hobart, mostly sunny for Adelaide, a hot day for Perth,and  possible thunderstorms for Darwin.
