Greece has received a bailout extension after it's list of reform proposals was approved by Eurozone Finance ministers. The euro group says it's great to begin the procedures which involve parliamentary votes in several states to give the deal a final approval. Some of the measures being offered by Greece include combatting taxation and reforming the public sector. Jetpack maker Martin is very happy. So Martin Aircraft is listed as a fine machine on the Australian Stockage Exchange. The New Zealand based company has raised 27 million dollars by issuing shares, most of which have been bought by China based investors. Funds raised by the stockage exchange listing are said to be going toward a commercial Jetpack, planned for the second quarter of next year. The US Department of Homeland Security has reportedly already expressed interests in the machine.
Let's go to the markets where have been record highs. The closed Dowe was a 1.6 percent higher at 18226, the NASDAQ was steady, the S&P 500 was trading hiher In London the FTSE closed at a record high in fact.
To commodity markets. WTC is trading at 48 US dollars a barrel, Tapies is trading at 63 US dollars a barrel, and gold this morning is worth 1200 US dollars an ounce. The Aussie dollar is at 78 US cents, 69 euro cents, and 51 pence sterling.
