A former senior employee of the Commonwealth Bank has been arrested and charged after a bribery investigation involving New South Wales police and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. The sixy-one-year-old was arrested yesterday and charged with two counts of bribery. One and a half million US dollars and suspected corrupt payments have been frozen. Detectives have asked the FBI to help find another manager who is currently overseas. In the statement the Commonwealth Bank says they'll fully cooperate while the investigation continues as there is no customer has been affected by this matter. China is now the world's third largest exporter of arms after the US and Russia according to a new report. THe Stockholm International Peace Research Institute has found China's military export has increased by one hundred and forty-three percent over the past decade.
