Two young boys who went missing in Townsville Bushland in north Queensland are home safe and well with their families this morning. Five year old Timmy Carther and his six year old friend Nicolas Baxter wondered way from their Townsville homes on Saturday. The boys were found late yesterday and were treated in hospital for minor cuts and bruises before being allowed to go home.
Pope Francis has canonise two 19-century Palestinian nuns at a ceremony at Vatican. The canonization was attended by Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas, who the pope just described as an angel of peace. It comes a day after Vatican was recognised as a Palestinian state. |
