The high pressure system is the dominant feature across the continent. Underneath, we got some very cold and frosty mornings, but we are expecting to see mostly sunny conditions. The only rainfall, a few light showers along the Queensland coast, down around the southwest, but more widespread showers across western parts of Tasmania. And showers along parts of the Queensland coast, generally the southeastern coast for fringe and the northeastern tropics in Peninsula. A / moist onshore wind flow, easing frost though across the southern and central inland.
Still very widespread frost across New South Wales. Any showers along the coast, more likely in north across Perth Harbor. Elsewhere, it should be generally clear, dry and sunny.
It also got mostly dry conditions across Victoria. Perhaps, an isolated shower about the far southwest coast. Also looking at the potential of very widespread frost and fog in the morning.
Now, showers, strong and gusty winds also through the western parts of Tasmania. We’ll see a few cracking about the north and also southern areas as we are heading towards the afternoon.
And for South Australia, also generally dry conditions, a bit frost about more eastern parts. Possible very isolated shower about the far south coast.
Similar snow with Western Australia. Isolated showers about the southern parts of the West Coast. Mostly areas, though, should mainly dry and generally sunny.
Dangerous fire weather can be continuing around Darwin and the Adelaide River. Elsewhere, it should be clear, dry and sunny. Just possible showers in the northeast. |
