CCTV9英语新闻:Cubans talk about Obama's visit(在线收听

While some Cubans are excited about Obama's visit and the positive changes it could bring, others are more reserved in their expectations.

"It was very emotional. But today, I am unhappy with him because he brought the cold weather with him but, still very emotional, everything turned out very well. We love him here. He is a very smart man. It is all very nice, very nice," said Miriam Castro, a Cuban citizen.

"For us, it is an honour that a US president has shown us, the Cuban people, so much regard. We are very happy for the things that appear to be coming our way and we will have a good relationship with the US," said Gustavo Sanchez, a Cuban citizen.

"I was born with the revolution in 1960. I have lived through all the stages of the Revolution, including this most recent one. I want understanding, as long as we are respected," said Vivian Morales, a Cuban citizen.

"I don´t disagree with his coming to the island, but what I want is that changes be for the benefit of the Cuban people, because we are going through a difficult economic time here," said Clarisa Perez, a Cuban citizen.
