【英音模仿秀】种姓之殇(在线收听

❤ 模仿文本:But first, Meena Kandasamy is a poet, writer and activist from the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. She's written many controversial articles about violence against women, religious intolerance and the caste system. Now Meena's published her first novel, The Gyspsy Goddess, based on a true event which took place in 1968. The novel tells the story of landless villagers and Communist activists who clashed with landowners. The struggle led to the massacre in Kilvenmani of more than 40 old men, women and children from the Dalit caste, also known as the "untouchables". When Meena Kandasamy came to the Outlook studio, I asked her more about the events which led up to the killings.
