  The mother of a 10-year-old student at Zhongguancun No 2 Primary School wrote an article online saying that her son had been bullied by his schoolmates.

  According to her article, the boy was attacked in the school toilet by two of his classmates, who allegedly threw a trashcan at his face, leaving his head covered with filthy toilet paper.
  文中称,这名男孩在学校厕所里被两名同学袭击,据称,他们把垃圾桶扔他脸上,弄得他头上都是污秽的厕纸。
  The boy was later diagnosed as having an acute situational reaction, with symptoms including insomnia, anger and unwillingness to go to school, according to the article.

  However the school brushed off the incident as "a joke that went too far".

  The father, surnamed Wang, told Xinhua that his son is still emotionally unstable and not currently going to school. "We are accompanying him to adjust, and he will not return to school until the case is closed," he said.

  An online survey on Weibo, which has drawn 100,000 participants, showed nearly two-thirds of parents would advise their children to take "a tooth for a tooth" response to bullying.
