get on (off), get in (out) 乘坐，从……上下来

如果像公交或火车这样体积比较大的交通工具则用介词 on，如果是小型车辆的话就会用 in。当然 get in (out)除了车辆以外也表示“进入”，“出来”的含义。

例句：

Excuse me, is this where we get on the train to Chicago?

不好意思，前往芝加哥的火车在这儿上吗？

Could you tell me where to get off?

能不能告诉我在哪儿下车？

对话：

A: Let's take a ride downtown today.

今天去城里吧。

B: Do you know where we can get on the bus?
