A new "top of the line" e-reader will be announced next week, as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos teased Monday on Twitter.

It’s been a while since we had a new Kindle; the Kindle Voyage was released in October 2014.

It featured a new, high-resolution glass display with adaptive backlighting.

In June 2015, Amazon updated its popular Kindle Paperwhite to include the higher-resolution screen of the Voyage and a new font.

2015年6月，亚马逊升级“Kindle Paperwhite”，包括Voyage高清屏幕，且新添新字体。

As to what Amazon plans to introduce with the new Kindle, that’s unclear.
