In the the international fight to curb global warming, President Barack Obama met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House.

Obama stated "We discussed how we can, as quickly as possible, bring the Paris Agreement into force" .

奥巴马说：“我们讨论了如何尽快将巴黎协定生效”。

The United States intends to ratify the agreement this year and in a joint statement India said it would aim to do the same.
