Suburb Kids Learn from Puppies, Fitness Circuit

Children probably outnumber people my age in my neighborhood.

So were on a mission to keep them busy during these homebound times.

One week we developed a fitness circuit.

Heres what we taped onto our mailbox and instructed the kids to do the exercise.

Head, shoulders, knees and toes for 10 times before they moved on to the next mailbox exercise.

When a neighbors dog gave birth to eight puppies,we all watched live on facebook.

Thats real. But what we wanted to do in this neighborhood was to lift everyones spirits

and to shield the children from the worst news.

Lately someones been leaving behind painted rocks with messages with thoughts

like we will travel again and smile.

Great thoughts for all of us to embrace from behind our closed doors.

I found this one today, it says, Believe,I gonna go now

so I can leave it along the trail again for someone else to ponder.
