A former British Deputy Prime Minister John Presccot has revealed that he suffered from the eating disorder bulimia.He said he ate to deal with the stress of the job.With the details,here is Ross Hawkings.

"Shame and embarrassments stopped him talking about his condition in the past,"John Presccot said.But now he's given a detailed account of his struggle with bulimia.He ate to deal with the stress of his job when Labour came into power in 1997."Things got on top of him,"he said,and he took refuge in food."It was his wife Pauling who noticed food was going missing,soon he had a problem and persuaded him to seek medical help.He says he hopes his revelation will encourage young women who suffer from bulimia to seek treatment.
