The organizer of the 2014 world cup in Brazil has pleaded not guilty to accepting bribes worth millions of dollars. The British oil company Soco has announced that it's given up the exploration license for an area in the democratic republic of Congo's the Virunga National Park. Soco gave no reason for its decision but it suspended exploration last year in the area home to the endangered Mountain Gorilla following an environmental protest.
