China urges all parties to deescalate tensions in Ukraine

China has called on all stakeholders to remain rational and avoid actions that will escalate tensions in Ukraine.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that China is closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine, and the Chinese embassy and consulates in the country are operating as usual.

The spokesperson also reaffirmed the importance of the Minsk-2 agreement.
