Teaching about Charity

Make certain you do not perform your religious duties in public so that people will see what

you do. If you do these things publicly, you will not have any reward from your Father in heaven

So when you give something to a needy person, do not make a big show of it, as the

hypocrites do in the houses of worship and on the streets. They do it so that people praise

them.  But when you help a needy person, do it in such a way that even your closest friend will not

know about it. Then it will be a private matter. And your Father, who sees what you do in private,

will reward you.

Riches in Heaven

Do not store up riches for yourselves here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and

robbers break in and steal. Instead store up riches for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust

cannot destroy, and robbers cannot break in and steal. For your heart will always be where your

riches are.

The Light of the Body

The eyes are like a lamp for the body. If your eyes are sound, your whole body will be full of

light; but if your eyes are no good, your body will be in darkness. So if the light in you is

darkness, how terribly dark it will be!

关于慈善的教义

切勿在公共场合举行宗教活动，以免让人看见。如果你公开做这些事情，你将不能从

天父那里得到任何报偿。

所以当你为穷人做些布施的时候，切勿炫耀，切勿像伪善之徒在礼拜堂或大街上所

为。他们这样做的目的是为了让人们颂扬自己。但是当你帮助一个穷人的时候，要做得连

最亲密的朋友都不知道。这将是一桩私事。天父看见你私下所为，就会奖赏你。

天堂里的财富

不要在凡间储存自己的财富，这里有虫蛀锈蚀的破坏，有强盗闯入偷窃。相反，要在

天堂里为自己积攒财富，那里无虫蛀锈蚀的破坏，无强盗闯入偷窃。因为你的心在哪里，

你的财富就在哪里。

肉体之灯

眼睛就像肉体的一盏灯。如果你的眼睛明亮，你的整个肉体就会充满光明；但如果你

的眼睛昏暗，你的肉体就会陷入黑暗之中。因此，如果你心灵的光熄灭了，世界将会是多

么可怕的一片漆黑！
