1. The New York Yankees are World Series champions. Yanks beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-3 in game six, winning the series four games to two. Hideki Matsui drove in six runs in the victory and was named series MVP. This is the 27th World Series title for the Yankees.

2. Florida authorities say they have found the missing baby alive under her babysitter's bed. They say they plan to charge the babysitter, her husband and the child's mother. Right now authorities do not believe the girl's father was involved. The baby girl was reported missing Saturday.

3. The United Nations is temporarily relocating more than half of its international staff in Afghanistan, following last week's deadly Taliban attack. The Kabul attack was the most direct targeting of UN staff during the organization's 50 plus years in the country.

4. The House plans to vote this weekend on President Barack Obama's proposed 10-year, 1.2-trillion-dollar health care overhaul. However, action in the Senate side is much lower where negotiations could spill into 2010.
