Things are back to normal for Philadelphia area commuters as the transit strikes that shut down buses and subways in the city has come to an end. Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell announced Sunday that the Southeastern Pennsylvanian Transportation Authority has reached an agreement with its largest union. About 5,000 transit workers had walked off the job last Tuesday. Rendell has accepted and the union had settled the disagreement over a pension fund audit and made some changes in health care and dental benefits.
